Reason to be optimistic No. 6

It's still very early in the season.

Yes, the Minnesota Vikings are already three games behind the Detroit Lions in the division and have a long way to go to be mentioned in the Wild Card conversation. However, there are still 12 games left in the season.

Included in those 12 games are all six of Minnesota's divisional games. Those start on Sunday when the Vikings hit the road to take on the Chicago Bears, making this week's game one of the biggest of the season for the Vikings.

Winning those divisional games as well as finding some success against non-division foes could turn this team around quite quickly. Outside of a Monday Night Football game against the 49ers, there are quite a few games that seem very winnable.

Seeing if the Minnesota Vikings can battle back from this frustrating start will be interesting to see. The season isn't a total loss yet, but the frustration of fans around the world is completely valid until things start to change.
