Vikings roster takeaway No. 1

The offensive line is shallow

It was amazing that only eight offensive linemen were included in the final 53-man roster of the Minnesota Vikings. Since there are five starters, that means there are only three backups or relief players available.

Since this roster release, the Vikings have added former Bills lineman David Quessenberry. This was a move that was desperately needed in order to bolster a unit that struggled mightily for the entirety of the previous season.

Don't be surprised if Minnesota is still looking to make adjustments to the offensive line group. Considering the interior of the line is still a liability, if a quality guard or center becomes available, the team should take a look.

Oddly, the Minnesota Vikings seem comfortable bringing back the same starting five from last year. That means that any help will likely come in the form of a high-potential or versatile player that slipped through the cracks on another team.
