Big games are on the horizon.

At 1-4 and in the cellar of the NFC North, it might be hard for Minnesota Vikings fans to be optimistic about the team and their upcoming schedule, but the next few weeks will say a lot about this team's chances.

Next week, the Vikings will travel to Chicago for their first divisional game of the year. Two weeks after that, Minnesota goes to Green Bay for their second divisional game. Those contests have become almost must-win games.

There are still some games left on the schedule that fans might not be as optimistic about. Week 7 against the 49ers will be a huge challenge and six divisional games will really put this team under a microscope.

While I will never be one of those fans who wants to tank a season, it is important to recognize where you are as a franchise compared to other teams. At the moment, the Minnesota Vikings still have a lot to prove if they want to make fans and experts believe in them.
