Vikings takeaway No. 5

The passing attack is explosive

Although it's not going to be a popular statement with some Minnesota Vikings, Kirk Cousins is having a hot start to the season despite not getting a lot of help from his run game or his offensive line.

He completed 31 of his 44 pass attempts for 344 yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions on Thursday night, making his season total 64 completions on 88 attempts for six touchdowns and one interception.

Having great options like Jefferson, Addison, and Hockenson available as weapons has been great for Cousins. K.J. Osborn has struggled a little so far, but he can still be a contributor when opportunities arise for him.

If nothing, watching the offense of the Minnesota Vikings will be fun this season. Even in losses, the passing game gives fans something to get excited about when the run game stalls or the defense can't get off the field.
