The Minnesota Vikings got a big win against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football and there was a lot to learn from the Week 7 game.

Coming into Week 7, the Minnesota Vikings were in a tough spot. With a 2-4 record and zero wins at home, the team had an opportunity to make a statement against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football.

Despite being the home team, Minnesota was seven-point underdogs to the 49ers. The Vikings were missing their top offensive weapon in Justin Jefferson and had been turning the ball over at an alarming rate.

Add in the narrative about Kirk's Cousin's prime-time history, and everything seemed to point to a disaster on Monday Night for the purple and gold. However, that wasn't the case, and the Vikings got a 22-17 victory to move them to a 3-4 record on the season.

There is still a lot of work for the Minnesota Vikings to do in order to work their way into the playoff picture but there were definitely some things to learn about this team from their Week 7 win over the 49ers. Here are the game's biggest takeaways.
