There was quite a bit to learn about the Minnesota Vikings during their Week 4 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Entering Week 4, the Minnesota Vikings were in a bad place. They lost three consecutive close games to open the season and had to hit the road in the hopes of getting on track during the 2023 NFL season.

Thankfully, the Vikings were able to get the job done against the Carolina Panthers, winning a close game by the final score of 21-13. Carolina had an opportunity to cut into the lead near the end of the game but was denied by Minnesota's defense.

Now sitting with a 1-3 record, the Vikings have to look ahead to a schedule that includes some extremely tough games. That starts next week when the Kansas City Chiefs come to U.S. Bank Stadium in Week 5.

But before looking too far ahead, it is worth taking a closer look at what happened in the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers to evaluate how this team performed and what it could mean going forward.
