Vikings takeaway No. 6

This team has a lot of heart.

Every player in a Minnesota Vikings uniform looked fired up in Week 9. Sure, the team was 4-4 coming into this game and they were without some of their key contributors, but this team is very passionate about their performance.

While a lot of fans didn't know what to expect from the Vikings, there is no denying this team was focused on going into Atlanta and getting a win to make it four straight victories and keep the hope of a postseason berth alive.

There were plenty of times Minnesota could have been deflated by events during the game but that didn't happen. Overcoming adversity is something this team is used to and many of the players seem to thrive on it.

The Minnesota Vikings have eight games left on their schedule. Half of those contests are against NFC North foes. Keeping energy high and fighting for every yard could help to make this team a scrappy underdog that will be fun to root for as the season continues.
