Vikings takeaway No. 1

That was a boring game of football

Some fans called it a "defensive battle" on Sunday, but those people are being polite. The two offenses were inept despite them both having quite a few weapons on offense available during the game.

Fans of punting likely had a great time, as the two teams combined for 830 punt yards but only 433 yards of offense. It even had a missed field goal for people who are into that. Otherwise, you were likely playing on your phone during this game.

This was one of the most expensive tickets of the season and those fans got to see a lot of backups and not a lot of points. I've often wondered if you could walk out of a football game like you would at a movie theater and ask for your money back.

While it was nice the Minnesota Vikings got a win over the Raiders, there were probably a lot of fans who were just happy that the game was over and the torture of watching these offenses was finally over.
