Vikings takeaway No. 5

There is no rush on Justin Jefferson.

It feels a bit odd that the Minnesota Vikings are on a five-game winning streak without star wide receiver Justin Jefferson, but that's exactly what is happening, even with Kirk Cousins out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon.

Jefferson is able to re-join the team when he is healthy, but was not able to suit up for the game against the Saints. When he does return, it will be fun to see the kind of connection he and Josh Dobbs can develop, but there is no rush on that.

Minnesota faces off against the 3-5 Denver Broncos next week on Sunday Night Football and the 3-7 Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football before they have their bye week in Week 13 to get the team some rest.

While it would be great to see Justin Jefferson back as soon as possible, the priority for the Minnesota Vikings should be getting him back to one hundred percent and ready for the remaining games on the schedule.
