Updated NFC playoff picture after the Vikings loss to the Packers in Week 17
By Adam Patrick
What does the current NFC playoff picture look like after the Minnesota Vikings were manhandled by the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night?
After getting a win over the Las Vegas Raiders to improve their record to 7-6 a few weeks ago, the Minnesota Vikings qualifying for the 2023 playoffs seemed like something that was highly likely.
But following a pummeling by the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, the Vikings have now lost three games in a row, and they're heading into Week 18 with a 7-9 record. They now have a greater chance to watch the postseason from their couch than to participate in it.
Shockingly, the Vikings still haven't been officially eliminated from getting into this season's playoffs, but they are going to need a lot of help next weekend if a spot in the postseason is going to become a reality for them.
