5 veteran NFL QBs who could replace Kirk Cousins in 2024

Quarterback No. 4
Justin Herbert
When talking about dream scenarios for the Minnesota Vikings, being able to secure the rights to a player the caliber of Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert seems extremely far-fetched but it may not be as outlandish as initially thought.
The Chargers are an organization that is notorious for not wanting to spend too much salary cap space on one player, as evidenced by their peculiar handling of running back Austin Ekeler this offseason.
If Los Angeles attempts that kind of shenanigans with 2020 Offensive Rookie of the Year Justin Herbert, expect multiple teams to try to swoop in and make a trade offer for the young passer or even wait to see how the negotiations pan out.
While it is unlikely the Chargers see their future without Justin Herbert, there is a possibility that their organization might be it's own worst enemy and an entertaining and high-quality young quarterback becomes available.
