Fans of the Minnesota Vikings will get a deeper look at Marcus Mariota when the Netflix series "Quarterback" airs if they are watching to see Kirk Cousins behind the scenes and see a bit of his personal life.
However some fans may have seen enough of the former Oregon standout during his stops in Tennessee and Atlanta as a starter as well as when he was a backup for the Raiders to not want him in a purple and gold jersey.
This season, Mariota will be behind Jalen Hurts on the Eagles depth chart and is unlikely to see action unless something happens to the Philly starter, meaning his value is unlikely to increase too much past the $5 million he is earning in 2023.

Mariota could be an inexpensive free agent option to check out if Kirk Cousins isn't the Minnesota Vikings quarterback in 2024. They would just have to hope that they are getting the 2016 or 2022 version of him.
