Vikings Classic jerseys will return on Monday Night Football in Week 12

The Minnesota Vikings will be wearing their "Classic" jerseys when they take on the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football in Week 12.
Fans of the Minnesota Vikings have been begging for the team to wear throwback jerseys and they got their wish in the season opener when the team wore their "Classic" uniforms against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It appears as though fans will get another opportunity to see the team wear their "Classic" throwback uniforms when the team hosts the Chicago Bears in Week 12 in a high-profile Monday Night Football contest.
Here is the post from the official Vikings account on X (formerly Twitter) announcing the change in uniform for the upcoming game:
The "Classic" Minnesota Vikings jerseys are great!
Although the modern uniforms for the Minnesota Vikings look very nice, there is something special about the throwback jerseys that remind us of when the team boasted some of the most dominant players in league history.
For the Vikings to choose to wear their throwbacks in Week 12 is a bit of a big deal. Not only is it a prime-time matchup against a division foe that will be nationally televised, but it is Minnesota's final home game before they have their bye week
The game will take place on Nov. 27 at U.S. Bank Stadium and will be televised on ESPN as well as ABC. It is an important game for the Vikings since they are trying to stay in the playoff picture and keep pace with the Detroit Lions in the NFC North.
The announcement that the Minnesota Vikings are bringing back these "Classic" throwback jerseys for another week should make fans happy. Hopefully, they will have better results when wearing them for the second time this season than they did in their first showing.
