First-Round Pick (11th Overall)
Dallas Turner - EDGE (Alabama)
Everyone will be expecting the Minnesota Vikings to want a quarterback in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, whether the team brings Kirk Cousins back for a year or two if the two sides can't work out a deal this offseason.
Minnesota's second biggest need is a pass rush. Danielle Hunter, Marcus Davenport, and D.J. Wonnum are all expected to hit free agency, leaving the Vikings' edge rushers a bit thin and opening up both starting spots for the upcoming season.
Dallas Turner plays like a man possessed. His aggression and determination, combined with a 6-foot-4, 252-pound frame, make him a defender who should terrorize opposing quarterbacks every week.
Last year with Alabama, Turner had 14.5 tackles for a loss and 10 sacks in 14 games played while forcing two fumbles. He could thrive in an aggressive Brian Flores defensive scheme and should be near the top of the big board for the Minnesota Vikings.
