Fifth-Round Pick No. 2 (166th Overall)

Isaiah Adams - OL (Illinois)

The fifth round seems a little late to be looking for an offensive lineman, but the Minnesota Vikings need to not only find a starter at left guard, but they need to add some depth in case injuries sideline one of the blockers.

A player like the 6-foot-5 and 320-pound Isiah Adams would be worth taking a look at when this point of the draft rolls around. He has experience playing left guard, left tackle, and right tackle, but might be the best fit for guard at the NFL level.

In 2023, Adams was a team captain for Illinois, All-Big Ten Honorable Mention, and Academic-All Big Ten, who started all 12 games on the line. The Ajax, Ontario native also started all 25 games for Illinois during his tenure there.

Honestly, there's not a lot for the Minnesota Vikings to dislike about Isiah Adams. He is a versatile and durable offensive lineman who has a lot of green flags that should help him throughout the draft process.
