The Minnesota Vikings could go back to Jaren Hall at quarterback

When Kirk Cousins tore his Achilles tendon earlier this season, the Minnesota Vikings decided to try quite a few options to replace his production. Josh Dobbs was a good story for a while and Nick Mullens has struggled to make positive plays on the field.

Now, the Vikings could go back to seeing what they have in rookie quarterback Jaren Hall in the team's two remaining games. At this point, the offense has made a lot of mistakes and there isn't a clear quarterback option that gives Minnesota the best chance to win.

The potential of Hall, the experience of Mullens, and big play ability of Dobbs will all be factors in determining which quarterback and it isn't an easy call for Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell considering the postseason implications.

These final games of the season could also be seen as an audition for the starting quarterback role next season since it's far from a guarantee that the Minnesota Vikings will bring back Kirk Cousins for the 2024 NFL season.
