What does the future have in store for rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison? The future is bright, there's no doubt about that, and Minnesota Vikings fans can't wait to see what this kid can do catching balls from Kirk Cousins in 2023.

As excited as people are for Addison to ball out during his debut season in the NFL, it's still tough for plenty of Vikes supporters to envision the offense taking the field without team great Adam Thielen. Thielen won't be back with Minnesota in '23, as he's now suiting up for the Carolina Panthers.

Regardless, Addison knows that he can step in and make an impact for this offense. While the talented pass-catcher isn't here to replace Thielen, Addison is focused on helping the offense keep going on strong now that he's in town.

"I ain't going to get into it too much, comparing (to Thielen). I just know what I can do. I'm confident, and I am going to fill his shoes.

The hype is real for Addison. Taken with the No. 23 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, he provides the Vikings with another exciting young receiver to go with Justin Jefferson, who is easily one of the top wideouts in the game.

Cousins is loaded with plenty of talented pass-catchers on this roster, which has the Minnesota fanbase even more excited for Week 1 to get here. Addison is a former Biletnikoff Winner and he's a receiver that plenty of squads were hoping to land in late April.

The NY Giants were eyeing Addison at No. 25 overall, but the Vikings broke countless hearts in East Rutherford by taking Addison's name off the board. Now, the grind will reach a new level for Addison at training camp, but he'll enter things with loads of confidence leading up to the start of the regular season.
