The Minnesota Vikings won the football game, but it wasn't pretty, beating the Las Vegas Raiders by an uninspiring score of 3-0. The game may have also been the end of the Joshua Dobbs experiment, after getting pulled for Nick Mullens late in the game, who led the team to a game-winning field goal.

With all of that being said, a win is a win and the Vikings currently hold on to sole possession of the No. 6 seed in the NFC as they get ready to head to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in an interconference showdown.

Vikings vs. Bengals key players to watch

Minnesota Vikings

Danielle Hunter: The Vikings defense has become one of the best in the NFL over the past couple of months and Danielle Hunter has played a huge role in that, racking up 13.5 sacks and 18 tackles for a loss. He has a chance to make a huge impact when he and the rest of the defense take on Jake Browning on Saturday.

Cincinnati Bengals

Jake Browning: Is the Bengals replacement quarterback actually good? Can he lead the Bengals to the playoffs? The more we see Jake Browning play, the clearer the picture will be of what exactly the Bengals have in this guy. He has impressed so far, but now he has to face one an extremely tough defense in Minnesota. Not only do the Vikings keep opponents in check, but they disguise their blitzes and throw a lot of things at quarterbacks that may overwhelm someone as inexperienced as Browning. This will be a huge test for him.

Vikings vs. Bengals prediction and pick

Jake Browning is so hot right now. Unfortunately, there are few things I like doing more than betting against an upstart quarterback who came out of nowhere and had a few good starts. I'm going to need a bit of a larger sample size before I start calling this guy a great quarterback.

This is going to be a tough test for him this week. Brian Flores has done huge things with this Vikings' defense. They're now fifth in opponent EPA and seventh in opponent success rate. The zone blitzes he schemes up are going to cause a lot of confusion for Browning.

I'm banking on Nick Mullens getting the start in this game, he looked much better than Joshua Dobbs when he came in late in the game against the Raiders in Week 14. If he does get the nod, I feel pretty good about this Vikings bet considering the Bengals still boast one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They're 26th in opponent EPA and 31st in opponent success rate.
