After capturing the franchise's first preseason win since 2019 last weekend, the Minnesota Vikings will play in their second 2024 exhibition game on Saturday when they take on the Cleveland Browns inside Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Unfortunately, Vikings rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy won't be participating in this week's preseason matchup, as his 2024 season officially came to an end on Friday when he was placed on the team's injured reserve list after recently undergoing knee surgery.

A number of other notable Minnesota players, including wide receiver Justin Jefferson, running back Aaron Jones, and safety Harrison Smith, probably won't be playing against the Browns on Saturday either, especially with the weather forecast calling for rain and thunderstorms.
