Updated NFL playoff picture after Vikings cruise past Titans in Week 11
By Adam Patrick
With their win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings are sitting with an 8-2 record after Week 11 of the 2024 campaign. With seven weeks left on the regular-season schedule, the NFL playoff picture is starting to come into focus, and the Vikings are right in the thick of it.
At this point in the season, Minnesota is still in contention to enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the NFC, which would be huge. In three of the last five years, the team that finished the regular season as the No. 1 seed in the NFC went on to represent the conference in the Super Bowl.
After Sunday's games, the Detroit Lions are currently the top seed in the NFC with a 9-1 record. The Vikings aren't far behind at 8-2, but they have to continue to pile up the wins since it doesn't seem like the Lions are going to slow down anytime soon.
