The Minnesota Vikings took a bold approach to the NFL's International Series of games when they agreed to play in two games in Europe during the 2025 NFL season. Playing two games outside the United States didn't seem like something the league would even allow before those games were scheduled.

To make things even more interesting, the Vikings' games overseas will take place in back-to-back weeks. Week 4 will see Minnesota play the Steelers in Ireland, and one week later, the team will head to England to face the Browns.

This will be a huge opportunity for the purple and gold to expand their fan base and spread the love of the NFL to an audience that might not have otherwise been paying attention to a sport that is primarily an American passion.

A Minnesota Vikings fan in Dublin, Ireland had their wedding crashed by Viktor and the cheerleading squad ahead of the Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While a lot of emphasis will be placed on what happens on the field for the Minnesota Vikings over the next two weeks, that won't stop the team from having fun in Europe and making the most of their time while away from their families.

Recently, the UK_Vikings Instagram account shared a reel video of Viktor the Viking and the team's cheerleaders taking in a wedding in Dublin, where the bride and groom embraced the purple and gold atmosphere.

For many Vikings fans, this would be a dream come true. However, this becomes an even bigger deal when you're a fan of a team that plays its home games over 3,700 miles away. This is an opportunity that could only have happened while the team was in Ireland, and there is no way of knowing when or if the team will make that trip again in the future.

This was great for others in Ireland as well. Having Viktor, the Viking and the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders participating in an event like that could have created fans for the franchise and helped to expand the love for the purple and gold around the globe.

According to the Sports Business Journal, J.R. Mahon’s Public House & Brewery accidentally double-booked this weekend. Not only did they have it reserved for Vikings fans, but a wedding was booked for Friday.

Luckily, Pink Lee and Joseph Callahan (the bride and groom from California) had no problem with a Vikings-themed wedding. Callahan is a die-hard fan of the purple and gold and the couple even had former Minnesota tight end Kyle Rudolph on hand for the nuptials.

Congratulations to the happy couple. SKOL to them for their wedding!
