There always seems to be a bit more to a football game when the Minnesota Vikings take on the Green Bay Packers. Sadly, Sunday's game at Lambeau Field had none of the excitement and drama that fans should expect from the matchup.

Instead, Vikings fans were forced to sit through a one-sided affair that saw the Packers beat up on a struggling Minnesota team. The 6-23 loss never felt like the purple and gold were going to be competitive

You would think that with Josh Jacobs out and the Vikings holding Green Bay to 288 yards of offense would give Minnesota a chance, but it was more mistakes and inconsistencies that led to another loss, dropping the team to a 4-7 record.

One of the craziest things about this game is how running backs Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason combined for 83 rushing yards on 17 carries. An average of 4.9 yards per carry should have helped the offense. Instead, the Vikings were kept out of the end zone all day.

Minnesota Vikings Winners and Losers from the team's Week 12 loss to the Green Bay Packers

Vikings Loser No. 1

J.J. McCarthy - QB

It feels like low-hanging fruit to pick on J.J. McCarthy, but the Minnesota Vikings quarterback continued his turnover problems by throwing two ugly interceptions. To make matters worse, he only threw for 87 yards and was sacked five times, often holding on to the ball for far too long.

Vikings Winner No. 1

Ryan Wright - Punter

There were some beautiful punts from Ryan Wright in this game. He masterfully pinned the Packers deep when given opportunities, but the field position battle is hard to win when the offense only converts two of their ten third and fourth downs.

Vikings Loser No. 2

Myles Price - KR/PR/WR

Sometimes the ball bounces your way, and sometimes it doesn't. Myles Price learned that lesson when he allowed a punt to go over his head. The ball bounced in his direction and made contact with the Packers recovering, Green Bay cashed in with a touchdown on the extremely short field.

Vikings Winner No. 2

Will Reichard - K

One of the only consistent players in a Minnesota Vikings jersey this season, kicker Will Reichard was once again flawless while putting up all of the team's points. They didn't come easily, as Reichard had to make kicks from 52 and 59 yards out.

Vikings Loser No. 3

Jordan Addison - WR

If you weren't paying close attention, odds are that most Vikings fans didn't even know Addison took the field on Sunday. He was targeted with one pass against the Packers but did not haul it in. Let's hope he can make a bigger impact in the future.
