Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater Checks In With Dan Patrick (Video)

Teddy Bridgewater had a chance to call in for an interview with Dan Patrick on Friday and discuss a range of topics.

More from Minnesota Vikings News

Patrick kicked things off by asking about Thursday night’s FSU-Louisville game, which came out rather painfully for Bridgewater, especially because he had to listen to Christian Ponder trash talking.

Patrick of course asked Bridgewater about dealing with the Minnesota winters, and Teddy mentioned it being 29 degrees when he went into the facility the other day. But he says he’s not buying a fur coat.

More fascinating topics discussed: the Teddy Two-Gloves nickname, whether Bridgewater’s mom is still driving the pink Escalade he gave her as a gift and Teddy’s advice for Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston and the other QBs set to enter next year’s draft.

At the tail end Patrick sneaks in a question about Adrian Peterson and Bridgewater dodges away from that subject nearly as deftly as he dodges pass rushers.

All-in-all, Teddy sounds much more relaxed in interviews than he did right after the draft. He no longer sounds breathless and eager but now appears to have become rather seasoned in dealing with the media.

And perhaps a little bit jaded?

It’s a puff ball interview but I’m sure Bridgewater fans will enjoy it.
