Cordarrelle Patterson is known for his big personality, but the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver and kick returner is also a pro at telling bad jokes.

Wide receivers are known for their larger than life personalities and confidence on the field. When Minnesota Vikings pass catcher Cordarrelle Patterson was at the Pro Bowl, he did something a little outside of the usual.

In a video hosted by Whistle Sports on YouTube, Patterson among others took turns using bad jokes to try to get other NFL stars to laugh. The results were fantastic and some of the joke telling backfired in a big way.

Check out the video here as hosted on the official Whistle Sports YouTube account featuring many players who attended the Pro Bowl this year:

In the video, Cordarrelle Patterson gets matched up with Ryan Shazier of the Pittsburgh Steelers to find out who will laugh first at the corny, yet amusing jokes provided for them. Shazier told the first joke.

More from The Viking Age

“What kind of ant can count?” Shazier said and then paused. He finished the joke with the punchline of “an accountant”. Patterson refrained from laughing and then took his turn to tell a joke.

“What do you call a fake noodle?” Patterson asked. “An impasta.” Again, no laughter came and the joke telling duty went back to Shazier.

“Where does a sick horse go?” asked Shazier. “A horse-pital.” Still, no laughs were found and Patterson had another turn at telling the joke.

“What do ducks wear to weddings?” Patterson asked. “Duxedos.” And that one did the trick. Both Patterson and Shazier cracked up in a big way.
