Where do the Minnesota Vikings players sit heading into the 2017 fantasy football season? Here is what the experts are saying about the fantasy potential.

Now that the 2017 Draft is complete and the rookies are starting to settle into their new teams, the focus for Minnesota Vikings fans is shifting to the NFL preseason and hopefully the regular season action.

However. there is another thing that fans can look forward to: fantasy football. Whether there is money on the line in your league or if it is pride, winning a fantasy league can be a fantastic boost to egos and bank accounts.

The experts over at NFL.com are already compiling their list of their top prospects. Michael Fabiano, James Koh, Marcas Grant, Alex Galhar, and Adam Rank all shared their list of top prospects.

Here are the members of the Minnesota Vikings who appeared on the list (note that Adam Rank’s list is missing #51-74, where there might be Vikings included, but there is no way to know, but apparently that’s where ALL the Vikings are at!):

More from The Viking Age

Dalvin Cook, RB

  • Fabiano: #45
  • Koh: #57
  • Gelhar: #55
  • Rank: #87

Stefon Diggs, WR

  • Gelhar: #53
  • Koh: #61
  • Grant: #62
  • Fabiano: #65

Latavius Murray, RB

  • Fabiano: #71
  • Grant: #79
  • Koh: #94

Adam Thielen, WR

  • Grant: #77
  • Koh: #83

Not including Kyle Rudolph in the top 100 rankings of any expert is interesting. For a tight end, getting 840 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns is a very solid season, which will likely make him one of the top options at the position.

Otherwise, these ranking make sense. The Vikings will likely be spreading the ball around in a quick and efficient Sam Bradford passing offense and the run game will be much more of a committee approach than in the past. While that may lead to success on the football field, it doesn’t fare well for fantasy impact.
