For the first time, NFL teams are allowed to keep a 10-man practice squad, up from the previous limit of 8. Here are the 9 men the Vikings have thus far added:

A tenth man will be added in the coming days. That will likely be OT Austin Wentworth who was just waived and will have to clear before he can be brought back to the PS.
Jeff Baca has been told he will not be added to the PS at this time, but the “door remains open.”
Fans worried plenty about losing Banyard but it turned out no one else wanted him. Ditto all the other men on this list. Keep that in mind while obsessing over these players as potential key pieces. They all had to pass through waivers before getting to this point.
Anyone could have had them, and no one wanted them. But they will all be great players one day. The Vikings would have been screwed if they had lost even one of these men.
The Vikes will continue adding to their practice squad and, according to Rick Spielman, will continue shuffling their roster right up until mid-week.
