Every week it seems there’s a surprise late addition to the injury report, a guy who wasn’t on the report early in the week but suddenly, poof there he is.

This week it’s Matt Kalil’s turn to be that guy.
After practicing fully Wednesday and Thursday, Kalil missed Friday’s session. After practice Mike Zimmer explained the reason for Kalil’s absence.
Matt Kalil had a "minor aggravation," but Zimmer wouldn't explain further.

Does that mean Kalil suffered a minor aggravation of an injury or that Kalil was sent home for being a minor aggravation?
I’m sure it’s the first thing.
There has of course been nothing minor about the aggravation fans are experiencing this year every time Kalil whiffs on a block and lets Teddy Bridgewater get blasted again.
Hey, you think Kalil’s minor aggravation might be in his neck? You think…you think he’s got whiplash from getting turned around by so many pass rushers?
IT’S SO FUNNY.
But it’s not funny, because it keeps happening, and it would be nice if it would stop happening.
Whatever is bothering Kalil sounds like the kind of thing that would not be serious enough to keep him out of this weekend’s game. But you never know. His minor aggravation could turn major and then someone else would have to start in his place.
And that someone else might actually do a decent job pass blocking. And then the poop would really hit the fan for Kalil, who has little going for him right now except the old “who would you put in there instead?” argument.
I don’t know, Turnstile Jones?
