Before we begin gorging ourselves on food, drink, football and family tension, let’s take a moment to give thanks for the good things about being a Vikings fan.

It may seem there’s not that much to be thankful for right now but in fact there are many things. These ten things for instance.
1. Christian Ponder is never going to matter again
The days of worrying about Christian Ponder sucking are over. Now we have Teddy Bridgewater to worry about.
2. The defense is pretty good
Hey, how about that defense? At least we know the Vikings will be in most games.
3. Blair Walsh
He’s money most of the time. It’s good to have a solid kicker.
4. John Sullivan
We have one good offensive lineman. Let’s not forget that.
5. The defense
Hey did you see how they handled Aaron Rodgers? Love this D.
6. The draft is only a few months away
There will be some good receivers, safeties, offensive linemen, linebackers, cornerbacks and running backs in next year’s draft. I’m sure.
7. The new stadium
That new stadium is going to be awesome.
8. That defense
Love how the defense is developing. They’re really coming together.
9. Mike Zimmer
Zim has succeeded in creating a new culture. He has also built a pretty nice defense. How about that defense, huh? Now he just needs to work on his game management. Maybe he should play some Madden with Teddy.
10. We’re not Packer fans.
Remember everyone, no matter how bad life gets for you, it could always be worse. You could be a Packer fan.
