Now that the 2014 NFL season is over for the Minnesota Vikings, it’s time to get focused on next season. That means looking forward to free agency, the NFL Draft, and the schedules coming out.
Luckily for us, the NFL’s schedules come out on a rotating basis and we can now figure out who the opponents for the Minnesota Vikings will be both at home and on the road next season. Here is the current list according to Master Tesfatsion of the Star Tribune and FBSchedules.com:

Arizona Cardinals
Atlanta Falcons
Chicago Bears
Denver Broncos
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
Oakland Raiders
San Francisco 49ers
Looking at these schedules, it looks as though the Vikings will have a brutal time next year. They only face five opponents who ended this season with a losing record (Chicago, New York, St. Louis, Atlanta, and Oakland). They also face five teams that had 10 or more wins this year (Detroit, Green Bay, Seattle, Arizona, and Denver).
As always, it’s kind of pointless to analyze schedules this early on because anything can happen between now and the start of the 2015 NFL season. Still, it’s nice to know that you can save up some money now that you will know if a certain matchup is coming to a stadium near you.
