Sports Illustrated revealed their All-Rookie Team today in an article posted by Doug Farrar. Â There are a lot of talented players on the team, but only one player from the Minnesota Vikings made their list on the defensive side of the ball. Â That man was linebacker Anthony Barr.
Anthony Barr only played in 12 games for the Vikings this year and ended up in Injured Reserve after a knee injury forced him out of action for week 14 of the season. Â Still, he ended the season with 55 tackles, 15 assisted tackles, 4 sacks, 3 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles 3 fumble recoveries, and one fumble recovery touchdown. Â Barr is listed as the second linebacker on the team, only after Raiders standout Khalil Mack.
Here is the entire defensive Sports Illustrated All-Rookie Team:

Congratulations go out to Anthony Barr on being named to the Sports Illustrated All-Rookie Team. Â For a player that was seen as a project due to his inexperience, Barr exploded onto the scene for Minnesota and earned a starting role on the team due to his freakish athleticism and excellent instincts.
