Minnesota Vikings Seek Local Artists For New Stadium
By Adam Carlson
When the Minnesota Vikings finally move into their new stadium for the 2016 NFL season, the walls of the building will be lined with artwork from local artists. One of those artists could be you!

If you’re the artistic type and have an existing portfolio, you could be chosen to have some of your work on display. If you don’t have an existing portfolio, you don’t have much time to get one together.
They will not begin accepting applications until February 1st and will stop accepting them on March 31st. Then, over the course of the Summer, a group assigned by the Minnesota Vikings will decide which artists are commissioned to do the artwork.
Here is the information on how to submit your information and artwork for consideration to be used in the new stadium according to the Star Tribune:
"Local artists of all levels and experience who are interested in being considered for the new stadium collection may submit a short bio, sample images of artistic pieces indicating the style of their work and any other relevant information via PDF to art@newminnesotastadium.com. PDF submissions should be no larger than 5MB and contain up to eight visual samples of past pieces created by each artist. Rochelle Olson • 612-673-1747 Twitter: @rochelleolson"
Good luck to any artists that submit their work for consideration.
