Teddy Bridgewater had a really good rookie season, but there are obviously still lots of ways the quarterback can improve. One assignment for Bridgewater this offseason is to hit the weight room and bulk up so he can better absorb the punishment of playing QB in the NFL.

Norv Turner talked about this part of the offseason plan for Bridgewater, plus some other small things Teddy needs to work on for next year (via Star Tribune):
"“I think he’s a lean guy,” Turner said. “I think a good year in the weight room — he has not been a big weightlifter in college and I think a good year just improving his overall body strength — will help him. Certainly this is a very physical game, and then I think just playing and being more comfortable playing. I think we all saw him improve with the deep ball and then, you know, just a better understanding of our offense. I think there will be some little things that show up and those little things end up making a difference.”"
The knees are one area where Bridgewater definitely needs to get bulkier. Can’t have a QB with skinny knees.
The durability thing is also an issue when you consider all the pressure Bridgewater is sure to face behind a line that includes Matt Kalil at left tackle. You don’t need to tell Bridgewater about that. He learned that lesson quite a few times last year.
