It’s always fun to look at Minnesota Vikings mock draft choices this early in the process. Before the Combines, Pro Days and interviews, players usually stand on their merits from the seasons they played and not other measurables or their attitude or aptitude. While there are always players who have their stock soar when they’re put under the magnifying glass, draft experts and other members of the sports media love trying their hand at guessing who will land with which team.
To simplify things a little bit for everyone, I have compiled Minnesota Vikings mock draft selections and listed them according to the player chosen. Here are the early results:

Landon Collins, S – Alabama
Melvin Gordon, RB – Wisconsin
Ronnie Stanley, OT – Notre Dame
Trae Waynes, CB – Michigan State
As you can see from the list, Louisville wide receiver DeVante Parker seems to be the current runaway favorite for folks doing Minnesota Vikings mock drafts. Meanwhile, my personal favorite for the Vikings at #11 overall only had one site choose him for Minnesota: safety Landon Collins.
Do you have any Minnesota Vikings mock drafts you’d like to see included in the next update of mocks? Is there a player that isn’t included in these mocks that you think the team should consider at #11 overall? Discuss it in the comments below.
