Teddy Bridgewater has been winning quite a few awards recently, including Pepsi Rookie of the Year. But now, he’s added another award for his impressive rookie season. In a recent article on ESPN by Ben Goessling, it was reported that Teddy Bridgewater has been named the NFC North Rookie of the year.
Keep in mind that this is ONLY for the NFC North. That means that out of the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears, Teddy Bridgewater was voted the best rookie by NFL Nation writers.
Here is how the voting for the NFC North Rookie of the Year breaks down:

Teddy Bridgewater (14 votes)
It’s also nice that the second place player that according to the votes was also a member of the Minnesota Vikings. Rookie linebacker Anthony Barr also put together an impressive year for a player that was expected to be a bit of a project due to his lack of experience. Luckily for the Vikings, Barr’s athleticism and awareness made him a day one starter for Minnesota.
Congratulations go out to Teddy Bridgewater, Anthony Barr, and the Minnesota Vikings for the first and second place spots in the NFC North Rookie of the Year voting. They both deserve to be recognized for their excellent play during the 2014 NFL season.
