Hall of Fame defensive end Chris Doleman isn’t quite as good at guiding a snowmobile as he was at getting around offensive tackles. This weekend, Doleman suffered a possible mild concussion after being thrown from his snowmobile while participating in the Vikings Arctic Blast event.

The Arctic Blast charity event held this weekend at Thief River Falls featured a number of former and current Vikings including Doleman’s old defensive teammates Henry Thomas and Carl Lee.
Before getting on their snowmobiles, the players were given some quick safety tips. The Vikings’ Twitter account actually tweeted out a picture of Doleman watching safety training.
Guess he should have paid closer attention?
There’s also a pic of Doleman and Thomas getting their gear on and preparing to head off on the trail. You can see Doleman’s Vikings horn helmet waiting for him on the snowmobile seat. I’m assuming he put it on.
Doleman’s injury is not considered serious. Be careful out there on those snowmobiles, guys. Those things are dangerous. And loud.
