Polish football star and recent Vikings free agent addition Babatunde Aiyegbusi is a very large man and apparently he has the onions to match. The guy hasn’t even played a snap in the NFL and already he’s talking about taking down one of its biggest and baddest superstars, J.J. Watt.

Aiyegbusi may never make it in the NFL, but at least he talks a good game as demonstrated in a recent USA Today profile. “Babs” told USA Today he was rather nonchalant after being signed by the Vikings and there was a reason why:
"“What surprised Ryan (Monnens, the Vikings’ director of pro scouting) – I wasn’t jumping around, like big, happy of signing it,” Aiyegbusi recalled recently between sips of a remarkably tiny-looking iced tea.“He was like, ‘Are you not happy?’ I said, ‘I will be happy when I put (Houston Texans star) J.J. Watt to the ground.’ (Monnens) started laughing.”"
You have to like the young man’s confidence. Whether his massive size and apparent great power will be enough to help him catch on in grown-up football is another question altogether.
Right now Babs is an entertaining sideshow and he will give fans someone to root for in training camp now that Adam Thielen has moved up from “plucky Cinderella story” status to “legit NFL contributor.”
Gotta have those storylines to sell.
