As we learned with tonight’s big schedule unveiling, the Vikings will begin the 2015 campaign with a Monday night road trip to San Francisco to face the Jim Harbaugh-less 49ers.

One former Viking who now plays in San Francisco is evidently itching for some “revenge” that night against the team that let him get away two years ago (and got significantly better at his position after letting him go).
This vengeance-minded former Viking took to Twitter for a little bit of trash talk, and his ex-teammate Everson Griffen caught it. And quickly shut down this particular player who is known for talking a big game but not necessarily backing it up on the field.
Chip W.K. as this individual calls himself on Twitter was a non-factor for San Francisco last year and will likely be again for them this year. So unless he’s talking about getting in a big hit on special teams, I can’t imagine what impact he thinks he will have on the game.
It truly seems like a long-shot that “Chip” will “do s–t” when the Vikings hit Levi’s Stadium September 14 for the opener.
If I were “Chip” I’d worry less about talking smack and more about just making the team. He won’t have much of a shot at revenge if he isn’t even employed in the NFL once the season rolls around.
Actually, I hope “Chip” does get in the game. I want to see Teddy Bridgewater and Charles Johnson torch his ass.
