Round one of the 2015 NFL Draft is in the books. We’ve seen some great players get selected on the first day, with some going near where they were projected and others either going much sooner or later than many experts had projected. Since it’s nearly impossible to predict which players will go to which teams based on their skill set, scheme fit and aptitude, that’s why we as fans look to big boards and mock drafts for this information.
Many different media outlets have their own experts for making these big boards and creating their mock drafts. That’s how guys like Mel Kiper, Jr and Todd McShay have gotten famous is by guessing which team will draft what player and why. However, it doesn’t always take an ESPN or NFL Network guru to compile a smart list of prospects.
Our own Jackson McIntire has compiled his list of the top 75 prospects in the 2015 NFL Draft, so let’s take a look at some of the players that he has ranked highly, but haven’t had their name called quite yet. Included with the player’s name and information is the spot that the player occupies on McIntire’s final big board.

The Minnesota Vikings currently hold the 13th pick in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. That is the #45 overall selection. Of these players available, I’d personally love to see one of the five following players be selected:

Of course, many thanks go out to The Viking Age’s Jackson McIntire for the great work that he’s done on compiling his 2015 NFL Draft big board and creating interesting mock drafts. He’s always great to have on The Viking Age to help out during the time surrounding the draft!
