Minnesota Vikings Sign All 10 2015 NFL Draft Picks

Thursday May 7th, 2015 turned out to be a huge day for Viking fans and more importantly the team.

The years past are gone when teams would draft players and then began the ugly chore of trying to get the high picks signed and into Training Camp.

Training Camp is a ton of fun already with the only downer being if players would hold out which sometimes could result in a lengthy absence. The hold out could even result in missing Training Camp and even sometimes into the regular season.

Yes, finally times have changed as top picks are being signed earlier than the old days. Thursday the Vikings signed not only top pick, Trae Waynes but they also signed the 9 others.

Twitter was extremely fun today seeing tweets acknowledging that the Vikings have indeed singed the players.

I read a tweet today where the Vikings wanted the players signed early so they could focus on football. The Vikings organization really is building the right way with youth and now allowing the young men to earn the money they signed for.

The signings are also important because the rookie minicamp is coming up and now all 10 players can come in with a peaceful mind and start to work.

Per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press tweeted, a Vikings source says team is taking a different approach from last year when the Vikings waited two weeks to sign Anthony Barr and Teddy Bridgewater. As evident from Thursday the team signed all before rookie mini camp begins at Winter Park on Friday May 8th.

As a fan and season ticket holder I applaud 100 percent the effort to get these contracts done.
