While there was a lot of excitement about Adrian Peterson’s return to the Minnesota Vikings, there were also some concerns. However, one of those concerns was not about whether or not Peterson would come back to the team in good shape.
One thing that the former NFL MVP is known for is his great work ethic and non-stop motor. Adrian Peterson proved once again that it is foolish to worry about his conditioning. In fact, Peterson’s Vikings coaches and teammates have been praising how great of shape the running back is in prior to the 2015 NFL season.

Among those who are majorly impressed with Peterson’s physical condition is Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner. Turner has seen a lot of talent over the years and even had Peterson for one regular season game during the 2014 season, but he sees a player that hasn’t missed a beat since then.
Here is what Turner said in a recent article on the ESPN website:
"“I’ve been around a lot of these guys a lot of years, and he’s one of the top guys I’ve been around,” Turner said. “He just comes out and looks like he hasn’t missed a day. It was nice having him.”"
Turner’s praise is big, but there was one player for the Vikings that was blown away with Adrian’s conditioning. Cornerback Captain Munneryln may not have seen Peterson in quite a while, but he sees a player who is ready to step in and make a huge difference for the team in Minnesota.
"“I haven’t been around him a year, or six months. I didn’t know he’d come back in this type of shape,” Munnerlyn said. “The guy is in unbelievable shape, like he hadn’t missed a step, and he’s out to prove a point.”"
If Adrian Peterson is in the type of shape that Turner and Munnerlyn say, and can focus his abilities for the 2015 NFL season, he could be in store for a huge season in 2015. And that would be a huge help to an offense composed of young players and new faces in Minnesota.
