Adrian Peterson Ranked #1 Fantasy Football Prospect On NFL.com

The hype surrounding Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is back to reaching nearly astronomical levels after being absent from most of the 2014 season.  Sometimes, it’s easy to get swept up in a lot of the negative attention surrounding him and forget that this is the guy who owns the NFL’s single game rushing record and came within 8 yards of the NFL’s single season rushing record.

But that fact didn’t get past Michael Fabiano over at NFL.com when he was ranking the fantasy football prospects for the 2015 NFL season.  Despite there being quite a few great players to compete for the #1 overall pick in your fantasy football draft, he suggests that you use that pick on Adrian Peterson.

The list ranked the top 150 prospects for the 2015 NFL season and included a total of four players from the Minnesota Vikings.  Here are the other three players from the team who were included in the list:

Mike Wallace (#92 overall, #38 WR)

  • Teddy Bridgewater (#99 overall, #14 QB)
  • Charles Johnson (#133 overall, #51 WR)
  • Kyle Rudolph missing from the list was moderately surprising, but the questions surrounding his ability to stay healthy do make him a boom-or-bust prospect this year.

How do you feel about this list of fantasy football prospects from Michael Fabiano of NFL.com?  Do you feel that the players from the Vikings are in the appropriate spots?  Are there any players that you’d put higher or lower on the list?  Or was there a player that you think should have been included in the top 150 prospects that were left off?  Let me know in the comments below.
