The 21st annual Minnesota Vikings “Ride For Life” is currently scheduled for Saturday, July 18th. Fans of the team and motorcycles should already be familiar with the event, as the event will take riders from Hugo to Hinkley in support of the Vikings Children’s Fund. For a registration fee of only $15, people can support the Vikings Children Fund as well as take part in a fun event that can bring together motorcycle enthusiasts and Minnesota Vikings fanatics.
The article on Vikings.com explains the different ways that you can support the Vikings Children’s Fund and participate in the event.
"“There are two ways that riders can participate: by starting (check-in opens at 9 a.m.) at the Blue Heron Grill in Hugo (where Vikings current players, alumni and cheerleaders will have an autograph session starting at 10:30 a.m.) and departing with the group at 11:45 a.m. for Hinckley; or by riding independently to Hinckley’s Outdoor Amphitheater where check-in begins at 11 a.m. and the group ride is scheduled to finish at 12:35 p.m.”"

The opportunity to get autographs from current Minnesota Vikings players, past stars, and members of the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders should be more than enough to get interest in the event. When you add in the chance to be a part of an exclusive group of fans to participate in the event and get a shot at nearly $20,000 in prizes (including $5,000 in cash), registration should fill rather quickly.
"“It’s a great opportunity to get together, bring your enthusiasm and passion for motorcycles and combine that with Vikings football,” Vikings Children’s Fund Coordinator Pat Leopold said. “You get a chance to meet-and-greet Vikings players, enjoy motorcycles, great food and drink. We have a nice ride organized and we get great support from the state patrol.”"
As an added bonus, the first 300 people to register for the Vikings Ride For Life will receive tickets for the preseason contest between Minnesota and Oakland on August 22nd at no extra cost.
