2014 9th overall pick Anthony Barr was having a sensational rookie year when in December a knee injury sent the former UCLA stud to season-ending IR.

In the offseason, a separate knee issue kept Barr from participating in OTAs (via Minneapolis Star-Tribune):
"“We talked. We had the discussion. I felt like [sitting out during the spring] was the necessary steps in order to be as healthy as possible coming into training camp,” Barr said. “I missed the time. Obviously, I would have liked to have been out there and get those reps, but I’m not too concerned.”"
Despite all the knee drama Barr says he’s nearly at 100% and expects to be full-go for the start of the season. However, the linebacker will take it easy at first.
I don’t know about Barr’s knee but his hat game is definitely at 100%.

Viking fans are stoked to see Barr get out on the field alongside his former UCLA teammate Eric Kendricks, who is expected to lock down the starting Mike linebacker job. A healthy Anthony Barr could become a destructive force at the Sam backer spot for Minnesota.
