Minnesota Vikings fans on Facebook are optimistic about the team’s chances to be a much better team in 2015.

While that is a broad statement, there are now facts to back this up. On Vikings.com, they showed the results of a Facebook study which showed that the Minnesota Vikings have the 3rd most excited fan base among all the NFL teams.

From July 22 through September 7, the social media giant monitored the conversations that fans were having about each NFL team and recording whether the statements were positive or negative. The statements about the Minnesota Vikings were overwhelmingly positive, putting them in third place on the list of fan excitement.

The only two teams that recorded a higher score in their fan excitement study were the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins. Both of those teams are also squads looking to improve on their marks from the previous year after a disappointing finish. Meanwhile, the bottom three teams in terms of fan excitement are the Baltimore Ravens (#30), Jacksonville Jaguars (#31) and Oakland Raiders (#32).

The Minnesota Vikings thanked fans in the post for hitting the “Like” button on their page and engaging in positive talks about the team’s chances during the 2015 NFL season. They also asked fans to head on over to their Facebook page and let them know what you’re most excited about for the team this year.

It’s a good time to be a Minnesota Vikings fan and the folks on Facebook seem to understand that good things are on the horizon.
