Alan Page: A Football Life to air on NFL Network
By Adam Carlson
Minnesota Vikings fans love Alan Page. The former member of the Purple People Eaters had one heck of a career and went on to become one of the most important people in the state of Minnesota. The folks over at NFL Network have recognized Page’s contributions to both the game of football and society and have decided to air a special on the NFL legend as part of their series titled “A Football Life”.
Alan Page: A Football Life will air October 16, 2015 at 9pm EST. It will tell the story of his rise from a young man working in Canton, Ohio to becoming enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame through his contributions to the state of Minnesota as part of the Minnesota State Supreme Court.
A preview video of the upcoming special is available on the NFL Network YouTube account, but they have disabled sharing. To view it, CLICK THIS LINK.
In the meantime, you can get prepared for this amazing special by watching “Two Minutes of Pro Football History: Full Circle” which focuses on Alan Page’s rise to stardom. Here is that video from the Pro Football Hall of Fame YouTube account:
Personally, I’m a huge fan of what Alan Page has contributed to the Minnesota Vikings, the game of football, and the state of Minnesota. He continues to do great things for the community and be a strong advocate for equal rights. I know that there is a 100% chance that I’ll be tuning in on October 16, 2015 when this special airs on NFL Network.
