Mike Wallace not practicing, Mike Zimmer won’t say why
By Dan Zinski
When last we left the Vikings, Mike Wallace had mysteriously missed the final practice before the bye week with some kind of undisclosed situation.
Fast forward to a week later and Mike Wallace is still missing practice and his situation is still undisclosed.
When asked about Wallace on Monday, head coach Mike Zimmer had very little to say.
According to reporters on the scene, Zimmer seemed a little bit ticked off in his presser. Whether he was ticked about Wallace or something else, we can only guess.

Maybe Zim watched The Walking Dead last night and can’t figure out why the hell they didn’t just trap the walkers in the quarry by driving in more semis.
Maybe Zim was annoyed that Charles Johnson also had to miss practice on Monday, putting the team down two wide receivers going into this weekend’s big home game against Kansas City.
Not to worry Mike, you still have the dynamic playmaker Cordarrelle Patterson ready to roll!
With any luck we will receive some answer about the Wallace situation when the first injury report comes out on Wednesday.
Or maybe we’ll get an answer before then due to the intrepid work of some Twin Cities beat reporter. Come on guys. Work those sources.
