Teddy Bridgewater injured his shoulder while taking a sack but he is listed as probable to return.
Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater hasn’t been getting the best pass protection so far today as the Vikings take on the Packers.
Late in the second quarter, Bridgewater was sacked hard by the Packers’ Julius Peppers and wound up on the ground writhing in pain and clutching his left arm.
There may have also been some extra funny business on the play including a blow to Bridgewater’s head and a slight facemask.
Bridgewater left the field and was seen on the sidelines being tended to by trainers, still grimacing in pain.
Vikings backup Shaun Hill was forced to enter the game on third down and long and threw an incomplete pass toward Stefon Diggs, leading to a punt.

Moments later, with the second quarter soon to expire anyway, Bridgewater was seen heading to the Vikings locker room.
The announcement came shortly thereafter that Bridgewater was listed as probable to return.
With the Packers flooding the box to stop Adrian Peterson, the Vikings are going to need a good passing game in the second half if they want to win.
Shaun Hill may be a savvy veteran but frankly he looks out-of-shape and I don’t think he’s the answer for the Vikings.
If the Vikes want to move the ball and beat Green Bay, they need a healthy Teddy Bridgewater.
Fingers crossed.
Update: Bridgewater came back out before the end of the second quarter and appears okay.
