Captain Munnerlyn talked Monday about all the Vikings fans that filled up the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Sunday’s game may have been played in Atlanta but to Vikings CB Captain Munnerlyn, it felt just like being at home in Minnesota.
According to Munnerlyn, the Atlanta crowd was noticeably pro-Vikings.
Atlanta fans are known for being some of the most bandwagon in all of sports so with the Falcons going into a slump, it’s not a surprise that the team’s alleged supporters didn’t really show up.

With Falcons fans staying home, it was easy for excited Viking fans to make themselves heard.
Did that extra burst of energy from Viking fans help spur the purple to victory over the Falcons?
I don’t know. Maybe it did.
Maybe if Falcons fans aren’t going to show up, the Georgia Dome needs to go back to piping in fake crowd noise.
I was also going to say, now the Falcons know how the Vikings feel when Packer fans show up in large numbers at Viking home games against Green Bay.
It’s nice that the Vikings got to feel that home-away-from-home feeling at least once this year.
