Overall Impressions
Overall, this game might have been even harder to watch than the meltdowns against the 49ers or Packers. There was never a feeling that the Minnesota Vikings ever had a chance to come back or even be competitive in this game. And that is very disappointing because this was a big chance to prove that the team is ready for the big stage.

Poor play from just about every position added to a team that was out-coached and out-prepared. It made it hard for me to even find five good things about this game (even though I technically only put four). The injuries played a big part of that for the Vikings, but this team should have enough depth to have players who can step in and allow others to step up when needed. That just wasn’t the case.
The Seattle Seahawks were just the better team on this day. We can complain all we want about penalties and point the finger of blame, but this was a team effort and a team loss.
Sadly, the Minnesota Vikings will now have to turn their focus to the Arizona Cardinals, which are (in my opinion) one of the elite teams in the NFL. They have a suffocating defense and an explosive offense which makes it hard to think that Minnesota can turn things around, get healthy, and be prepared for the game on Thursday Night Football.
We can be optimistic and hope for the best, but I’m skeptical that the Cardinals game will be much different from what we saw today.
