Linval Joseph returns to practice for Minnesota Vikings
By Dan Zinski
Linval Joseph took another step toward returning for the Minnesota Vikings by getting back on the practice field.
The Vikings have played the last two games without nose tackle Linval Joseph but it’s possible they could have him back this weekend against the Bears.
Joseph tested out his injured foot Wednesday by doing some jogging on the side, and Thursday he took another step by getting back in pads and returning to practice.
Joseph was performing at a high level before injuring his foot three weeks ago against the Falcons.

With Joseph on the shelf, the Vikings got crushed by the Seahawks but managed to hold their own against the Cardinals.
Having Joseph on the field would be a great help to the Vikings as they attempt to deal with Matt Forte, Jay Cutler and the Bears this weekend.
Minnesota currently is two games ahead of their nearest competitors in the Wild Card playoff race but that doesn’t mean they can just rest on their laurels.
The Vikings may also get back injured safety Harrison Smith, who has now practiced two straight days.
The Vikings unfortunately may have to play the Bears without DE Everson Griffen who has missed two days of practice with a shoulder injury.
Will the Vikings ever get their entire top-line defense back on the field? It seems doubtful.
